Do you work all year around?

Whether it is hot or cold, wet or dry - we must always monitor the weather to guarantee the quality of our work.

Do you do concrete work?

We are confident in working with all masonry, including concrete flatwork when combined with decorative masonry (ex. brick ribbon, flagstone overlay, etc.). However, we typically recommend concrete flatwork specialty companies for larger concrete-only projects like driveways and sidewalks.

What kinds of projects can masonry construction cover?

We are equipped to take on projects of all sizes. From residential backyard makeovers to commercial building restorations and everything in between.

What is the difference between masonry and concrete?

Masonry is the practice of combining materials together to build structures. Concrete is one of the building materials used in masonry construction.

Can masonry construction help with my broken chimney?

Yes, we can repair every type of masonry chimney: brick, stone, stucco, and every combination thereof.

Should the masonry contractor I hire be licensed?

Yes. For your safety, it is best to check that the contractor you hire is licensed, insured, provides a superior warranty, and has all the nessasary permits needed to complete your project.

What happens at the initial hardscape consultation?

We will meet with you to go over the specifics of the project and provide a solution/s as well as estimated cost.

Will I be able to see real live stone samples before we proceed?

We prefer that you see a physical sample of the materials to be used when the project calls for it.

What happens at our second meeting?

Sometimes a second estimate appointment will be setup if the project scope requires. Our second appointment is usually after the estimate has been accepted and we will walk through the project with you as it begins.

What will be included in the proposal?

Our proposal will include the estimated total price of labor and materials to carry out the project, as discussed in our appointment.

What is your service area?

We work all across the greater Kansas City area and surrounding suburbs.

How long will it take to get a design?

Depending on the scope of the project, it can take up to two weeks for custom work.

Do you receive 3D renderings with a design?

We work with designers to produce 3D Renderings when needed.

Do I need a permit?

Whether or not a permit is needed can be determined at the initial estimate meeting.

What is hardscaping?

Hardscaping can be described as the man-made features used in landscape architecture such as paver paths or dry-stacked retaining walls.
